The Board of Governors of the New York Young Republican Club proudly announces an amendment to the Club’s Bylaws to establish a new position on the Executive Board: Corresponding Secretary. The Corresponding Secretary will be the Club’s Chief Marketing Officer and will serve on the Executive Board alongside the President, Vice President, Treasurer and the (newly renamed) Recording Secretary.
President Gavin Wax nominated former Communications Chair Alexandra Fasulo to fill the new role for the remainder of the term. The Board of Governors approved this nomination.
In addition to establishing the new position on the Executive Board, the Amendment also elevated the status of three ad hoc committees, Activism, Design, and Philanthropy, to the status of standing committees. Design Chair Jonathan Doucette and Activism Chair Gabriel Montalvo will now serve with full rights and privileges on the Board of Governors.
