This Thanksgiving, we have so much to be grateful for: our families, friends, and colleagues, but, more importantly, our individual constitutional freedoms. Three weeks ago, the American people spoke loud and clear when they delivered a major win for President Donald J. Trump. This represented yet another testament to the enduring values of liberty, opportunity, and prosperity which unite us as the American people.
Gathering each year with loved ones, we are reminded that our strength, like that of our country, is rooted in the communities we build and the principles we uphold. President Trump’s victory is not only a triumph for a singular person, but also a victory for the American spirit—the same spirit which once propelled the Pilgrims to settle and conquer our land, and which now drives the American people to combat any efforts to deface or cancel this holiday. No matter the challenges it faces, Thanksgiving is here to stay.
