The New York Young Republican Club affirms its prior position that Andrew Cuomo must be impeached and removed from office by the New York State Legislature. Calls for resignation by Democrats have no meaning; they would permit him to leave on his own terms in an insult to his victims. We include in those victims not only those subject to sexual harassment by this craven predator but also those who died by his blood-stained hands in nursing homes. Republicans must ensure that the full breadth of his criminal actions is captured in any articles of impeachment.
Members of the New York State Assembly and New York State Senate who impair Cuomo’s impeachment and conviction process are complicit with his degenerate and criminal behavior and have no place in public office.
