The Board of Governors of the New York Young Republican Club approved an amendment to the Club’s Bylaws today, which exempts all Club members who are also active-duty servicemembers in the United States Armed Forces from the payment of membership dues.
The amendment reads as follows:
“While absent on active duty, members serving in the military may be exempted from dues upon application to the Treasurer; they shall not be liable for dues when visiting New York City under orders.“
