All across the globe, the long arm of the United States is advancing the MAGA pro-peace agenda, as long-simmering wars and conflicts cool to a halt. Just days after India and Pakistan began fighting, President Donald J. Trump announced a “full and immediate ceasefire” between the belligerent countries. Russian and Ukrainian officials will meet in Istanbul this Thursday – perhaps at the highest level – to resolve their conflict. The ceasefire in Yemen is holding. And, after he was released by Hamas, the final living American hostage in Gaza was reunited with his family last night.
Peace is breaking out all over the world. As we welcome the Golden Age, President Donald J. Trump wields the formidable power of his Office to resolve wars, not to further them. “After so many decades of conflict,” President Trump remarked today in Saudi Arabia, “finally it is within our grasp to reach the future that generations before us could only dream about.” The tools of “peace, safety, harmony, opportunity, innovation, and achievement” are required to build a better world. War has no place among these values.
The New York Young Republican Club commends President Donald J. Trump for implementing a pro-peace agenda. The American People are tired of wars and of the warmongers who want them. By rejecting the war agenda, the Trump Administration is clearing room for policies that improve the lives of the American People. Without preoccupation with the Ukraine, India, or Yemen, President Trump can focus on the American economy, our common culture, and mass deportations. It is clear to all Americans what matters more.
