The New York Young Republican Club strongly encourages all of our supporters to take a serious look at this year’s Manhattan District Attorney’s Race. This is only the second time in nearly 50 years that the Democrats don’t have an Incumbent running for reelection. The last Republican to hold this office was our own alumni Thomas E. Dewey.
With the Democratic primary candidates bending over backward to tout their progressive credentials and their plans not to prosecute quality of life crimes, this race has become the most winnable race in Manhattan in decades.
The Republican nominee this year is exactly the man who could win this race and get the city back on track. Thomas A. Kenniff, a former Prosecutor, Iraq War Veteran, small business owner, and nationally renowned trial attorney, is not looking to be a firebrand social media star like his opponents. He is looking to bring common sense back to how the New York County District Attorney’s Office prosecutes criminals.
Thomas Kenniff is holding a fundraiser on May 20, 2021, from 5:30-7:30 at Pershing’s Square at 90 East 42nd Street. With many Democratic primary candidates openly admitting that the woke parts of Wall Street bankroll them, it is more important than ever that we raise funds now to prepare to overtake whichever radical progressive will be on the Democratic line.
