The New York Young Republican Club is on the lookout to fill several new openings on our Board of Governors. We are looking for members who have a passion for both conservative politics and a background in the duties of these specific committees.
The following committees are in need of new Chairmen: Speakers and Recruitment.
All of these committees report directly to the Executive Committee.
Applicants must be current members of the Club in good standing and must commit to one board meeting and multiple Club events per month, including the Annual Gala.
The Speakers Committee Chairman will organize, coordinate, and oversee all efforts related to our speaker series events, including finding speakers. We are looking for someone with a passion for both conservative politics and a background in event, wedding, gala planning, catering, or hospitality.
The Recruitment Committee is charged with identifying and soliciting potential new members. The Recruitment Chairman is responsible for all contact and follow-up with prospective members and is tasked with finding creative ways to drive membership growth. We are looking for someone who is passionate about conservative politics and has a background in sales, networking, or community organizing.
