The New York Young Republican Club is on the lookout to fill several new openings on our Board of Governors. We are looking for members who have a passion for both conservative politics and a background in the duties of these specific committees.
The following committees are in need of new Chairmen: Gala and Socials.
All of these committees report directly to the Executive Committee.
Applicants must be current members of the Club in good standing and must commit to one board meeting and multiple Club events per month, including the Annual Gala.
The Gala Committee Chairman will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and overseeing all efforts related to our Annual Gala, our largest event of the year. We are looking for someone with a passion for and a background in event, wedding, gala planning, catering, or hospitality. Strong Excel skills are a must!
The Socials Committee Chairman will be responsible for organizing and coordinating all the Club’s social and networking events in conjunction with the Speakers Committee. We are looking for an individual with experience in event planning/hosting to lead the Socials Committee.
