Legacy Expeditions serves to honor our fallen service members by reminding Americans of the sacrifices our predecessors made and inspire them to act in accordance with the values upon which our nation was founded.

In 2023, nine special operations soldiers, mostly Tier One operators, completed a world record setting expedition called the Triple 7 – 7 continents, 7 days, 7 skydives. The international skydiving community said it couldn’t be done. Many tried and all failed. But a testament to the American fighting man and woman, don’t ever tell us something can be done. We jumped in honor of a fallen servicemember on each continent and the Kabul 13.

A documentary, Triple 7: They Said It Couldn’t be Done, directed and produced by the famed filmmaker Dan Myrick, best known for ‘The Blair Witch Project’ was picked up for theatrical release. They will be holding a red-carpet premiere in NYC at the LOOK Dine-In Cinema on W 57th on Saturday May 11th at 7:30pm. It is a patriotic adventure documentary that melds the daring exploits of Bear Grylls and the global challenge of The Amazing Race with the deep camaraderie and heartfelt stories reminiscent of Band of Brothers.

You probably haven’t experienced anything like a Braver Angels Debate. This is a highly structured conversation in which a group of people think together, listen carefully to one another, and allow themselves to be touched and perhaps changed by each other’s ideas. When done well, everyone walks out a little closer to the truth, more aware of the validity in opposing views, and with tighter community relationships.

To learn more about our debates, you can view this video of a sample debate (it lasts about 15 minutes). For more information, to find upcoming events or view recordings of some of our past debates please visit: https://braverangels.org/what-we-do/debates/.
