Join the Arts Caucus for a book signing and talkback with author Justin Lee on his debut story collection. A Prisoner’s Cinema casts pitiless light on the shadows of souls who have forgotten God or stubbornly ignore Him. And yet there is grace—even for the monsters among us.

Associate editor at First Things magazine and a graduate of the MFA fiction program at UC Irvine, Justin’s stories and essays have appeared in The Spectator, The New York Post, Vice, Compact, The American Mind, ZYZZYVA, Los Angeles Review of Books, and elsewhere. He lives in New York City.

Ticket includes copy of book. Light snacks and drinks provided. As with all Arts Caucus events, BYOB and snacks also appreciated.

By registering for our events, you understand and consent to any participation in interviews, the taking or capturing of photographs, digital images, video or audio recordings containing your voice, image, appearance, or likeness by the New York Young Republican Club, its agents, and representatives. You, as well as any of your guests or transferees, also grant permission to the New York Young Republican Club, its agents, and representatives the right to edit, use, and reuse said products, photographs and/or digital images including for use in printed or electronic publications, social media, websites or other electronic communications, and all other forms of media. You further agree that your name and identity may be revealed in descriptive text or commentary in connection with said images and/or videos. You authorize the use of these materials without compensation. All negatives, prints, digital reproductions shall forever be the property of the New York Young Republican Club.
