This one-hour guided tour will give you an overview of the Morgan’s history, architecture, historic buildings, and collections. Afterwards, members have the opportunity to explore remaining galleries not covered on the tour, followed by group fellowship to discuss the arts in New York.

Councilwoman Inna Vernikov, who has been serving the public since 2022, has been a voice for New Yorkers who have been victims of anti-semitism. She has teamed up with Congresswoman Elise Stefanik to help stop the hatred that has been spread across CUNY campuses.

Paula Scanlan, a UPenn Graduate, has been a voice for female athletes on the forefront against ‘women’ like Lia Thomas invading our spaces in sports. Writers, submit your creative works! Collaborate with actors and see your writings come to life in a monthly workshop series.

Each month, writers will submit 5-10 pages double-space cut of their play, screenplay, monologue, or novel, to arts@nyyrc.com. From the submission, a number of new works will be chosen. On the day of the workshop, actors, writers, and audience members alike, will join us at our clubhouse to help develop the works. The first half hour of the workshop will be the time for everyone to come and mingle, while the organizers and Arts Caucus leadership select willing participants from the attendees to read for the roles in that month’s selections. You don’t have to have acting experience to join in on the fun! After the roles have been assigned, there will be a brief period where actors can look over the lines, and speak with the writer with any questions they may have, as well as receive basic instruction from the writer on how they envision the role being performed. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the creative process. Then comes the performance! As these are informal readings with the intention of assisting the writer, there’s no need for stage, blocking, or props.

Event Disclaimer

The New York Young Republican Club (NYYRC) is committed to providing a safe environment for its speakers and attendees. For all events hosted by the NYYRC, all attendees are obligated to use their legal first and last names. The use of aliases is strictly prohibited. Any attendee who uses an alias shall be subject to Article III, Section 9 of the Club Bylaws. For all events hosted by the NYYRC, attendee bags, purses, and other items, including jackets and the person of the attendee itself, are subject to search. NYYRC and its hired security personnel, at their sole discretion, may reject entry to any person (except for on the basis of legally protected classes) deemed detrimental to the furtherance of the values or objects of the NYYRC. Attendees must also refrain from conduct that is inconsistent with the purpose and objects of the NYYRC, including but not limited to interfering with other guests’ ability to enjoy the event; using foul, derogatory, or abusive language or gestures; appearing to be in a drunken or diminished capacity; or possessing weapons or other prohibited items (as determined by NYYRC Officers or Governors or security personnel). Violators may be subject to ejection and possible referral to law enforcement.

All attendees shall indemnify and hold the Club and its affiliates, trustees, Officers, Governors, agents, and employees harmless from any liability of loss, including but not limited to attorney fees and litigation costs, based or asserted upon any act or omission for property damage, bodily injury, death or any other element of damage of any kind or nature relating to or otherwise connected with, or arising in whole or in part from, the event attendance.

Photography Disclaimer

By registering for our events, you understand and consent to any participation in interviews, the taking or capturing of photographs, digital images, video or audio recordings containing your voice, image, appearance, or likeness by the New York Young Republican Club, its agents, and representatives. You, as well as any of your guests or transferees, also grant permission to the New York Young Republican Club, its agents, and representatives the right to edit, use, and reuse said products, photographs and/or digital images including for use in printed or electronic publications, social media, websites or other electronic communications, and all other forms of media. You further agree that your name and identity may be revealed in descriptive text or commentary in connection with said images and/or videos. You authorize the use of these materials without compensation. All negatives, prints, digital reproductions shall forever be the property of the New York Young Republican Club. You, on behalf of yourself and all successors, assignees, guests, and transferees hereby release and forever hold harmless the New York Young Republican Club, its agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, and liabilities whatsoever in connection with the above, including consequential, incidental, indirect, punitive, special or exemplary damages of any kind, or any loss of goodwill or reputation arising from events or affiliations with the New York Young Republican Club.

You further agree not to film, photograph, or interview event attendees without prior written approval from the President or Vice President of the New York Young Republican Club, and if approved, agree not to release said films, photographs, or interviews without prior written approval from the President or Vice President. You also agree to in good faith not release any material that impacts New York Young Republican Club official policy.

Speakers and Special Guests

Please note that the presence of any particular speaker or special guest at any event, even if advertised, is not guaranteed. The absence or change of any speaker or special guest at an event does not entitle you to a refund.
