The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse James Pai for New York City Council District 20 (that encompasses Flushing, Queens). James is the son of Taiwanese immigrant parents who came to America in search of a better life and more opportunities.
James attended Albany University where he became an accountant. He launched his own accounting firm and has tirelessly worked for 15 years building it up and giving back to his community. James’ work ethic speaks for itself. In his career, James partnered with over 800 local businesses providing free financial consultations and relief services in the face of the Covid-19.
His work goes beyond the business realm. Seeing the community devastated by the pandemic; James organized the distribution of masks, gloves, protective gear, and more to essential healthcare workers and immigrant families. His platform focuses on public safety, quality education, encouraging business development, and providing affordable housing. James is also married with 3 children and a dog named Mochi.
We look forward to seeing James becoming our next City Councilman and working with him to make our city a better place for all New Yorkers.
