The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Eric R. Greitens for the 2022 U.S. Senate election in Missouri. A native, lifelong Missourian and Purple Heart recipient, Eric is currently serving in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Reserve Officer.
In seeking to fill the open U.S. Senate seat vacated by Senator Roy Blunt—for whom he served as Governor from 2016-2018—Eric aims to bring strong Navy Seal leadership to the U.S. Senate and wishes to continue President Trump’s America First agenda.
During his time as Governor, Eric effectively banned lobbyists from Missouri politics, opened a new $250 million Nucor steel mill by ending job-killing regulations, and cut income taxes for middle-class families in half. Unlike other Governors, Eric was not afraid to call a special session of the state legislature when necessary. During his tenure, Eric called a special session to pass pro-life legislation and called an additional special session to prevent a steel mill’s closure.
Endorsed by America First host Sebastian Gorka and Former NYC Republican Mayor Rudy Guiliani, Eric’s proven and thorough statewide leadership experience and his relentless support of police and working-class Missourians will serve the interests of Missouri and put his state first.
