Currently, he works in emergency response as an EMS instructor for an advanced life support agency in Dutchess County, and has started a bakery business.
Currently, Geller works for the Department of Emergency Response and is part of Dutchess County’s Medical Reserve Corps in regards to the Pandemic. Additionally, as part of his work in emergency response, Geller has had an opportunity to meet and work with some of the top political leaders in Dutchess County. Additionally, Ben works for Today is America as the Director of Strategy in hopes to restore family values back to our nation.
Geller was asked to run for office by the Dutchess County Executive & NY-19 Congressional Candidate Marc Molinaro, and he has received widespread support and the endorsements of a large number of leading political figures in Dutchess County including Senator Sue Serino.
Geller recently led a crew of medical professionals on a humanitarian trip to Kenya and Ghana to provide medical services and medical training to those in great need. Geller believes in hard work, unwavering commitment, and selfless service, and in his own words:
“I was asked to run by the leadership here in New York and given my public service and humanitarian work, I know what the needs are of the people I seek to represent,” and “New Yorkers work hard…they are passionate, tough, and deserve to have their taxes lowered, and have elected officials who have their best interests at heart, and have officials who have a positive vision of the future. The mental health crisis in America is running rampant, and I want to join in the fight to combat that as well.”
If elected to serve in the Legislature of Dutchess County, Benjamin Geller will focus on small business, law enforcement, infrastructure, low property taxes, mental health, and education reform, as his primary areas of concern.
Geller’s unique experiences as an emergency medical professional and now a community leader provides the citizens of Dutchess County with a special opportunity to elect a qualified and experienced individual who will bring leadership to Dutchess County’s Legislature District 4. The New York Young Republican Club strongly urges all New York residents living in Dutchess County, in Hyde Park, Staatsburg, and Poughkeepsie to vote in support of Benjamin Geller’s candidacy.
