The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Ramses Frias for New York State Assembly, District 39. This district is home to some of the most diverse communities in the country, with many immigrant-owned small businesses and families. The people of District 39 face challenges such as violent crime, illegal street vending, affordability and a sharp decline in quality of life. Residents of Corona, Jackson Heights, and Elmhurst have endured a lack of authentic leadership for far too long.
Ramses Frias is a lifelong Queens resident, father, community advocate, and healthcare professional running for New York State Assembly in District 39, representing Corona, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, and parts of Middle Village. Born and raised in Elmhurst, Ramses has spent years fighting for safer streets, better quality of life, stronger schools, and affordable healthcare for working families.
Ramses is the founder of Citizens United, a community-based group dedicated to elevating the quality of life for NYC residents. He is also a member of the Let’s Improve Roosevelt Avenue bipartisan coalition, which advocates for improvements along Roosevelt Avenue. Additionally, he has helped hundreds of families access and navigate community healthcare resources. His grassroots activism has earned him regular appearances on Fox News and other local and national media outlets, where he discusses issues affecting the streets of Queens.
Running against incumbent leftist radical Catalina Cruz, Ramses is campaigning on a platform focused on public safety, lowering the cost of living, supporting small businesses, improving education, and delivering real results for Queens neighborhoods too often ignored by Albany politicians. His campaign message is simple: “Safer Streets. Lower Costs. Stronger Queens.”As an Elmhurst father, community leader, common-sense advocate, and club member, Ramses Frias is the every-man Queens needs to represent New Yorkers in the State Assembly. The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Ramses Frias for New York State Assembly, District 39.
