Isten, Család, Haza. God, Family, Homeland.
The New York Young Republican Club proudly endorses Viktor Orbán for reelection as Prime Minister of Hungary. Prime Minister Orbán is Europe’s most experienced leader and at this moment of crisis for Europe, his steady hands are Hungary’s best hope for a strong future. Orbán first held the prime minister’s office from 1998-2002, and since resuming office in 2010, established Hungary as the European capital of conservativism. As the Hungarians bravely held off the Ottomans so many centuries ago, today the Fidesz party has successfully held off the globalist order that has left so many once-glorious European countries in shambles.
Unlike how globalist Europe is retreating from Western Civilization, Prime Minister Orbán is steadfastly reinforcing it. He is not shy that Hungary is a Christian country. In 2013, he declared that his government’s motto was Soli Deo Gloria: Glory to God Alone. In 2018, the Fidesz government passed a fundamental law declaring that: “The protection of the constitutional identity and Christian culture of Hungary shall be an obligation of every organ of the State.” Is there a better expression of the duty of government outside the American Constitution? Today, the simple motto “God, Family, Homeland,” Isten, Család, Haza, is the lodestar of Orbán’s government.
While Europe is decaying from within, abandoning its Western and Christian heritage, Hungary is restoring these identities to their rightful prominence. While Europe invited at least 87 million migrants into its borders, Hungary built a wall to keep them out. While Europe is baiting Russia into a world war, Hungary is holding the line for peace. While Europe is destroying its own culture, Hungary threw the George Soros-funded Central European University out of its country. And while Europe is abandoning its energy security on the altar of climate change, Hungary is investing heavily in nuclear power. There is a trend here: Europe is struggling, but 20 years of Orbán’s visionary leadership is breathing new life into Hungary’s restoration.
The NYYRC’s relationship with Hungary stretches back to at least 1958, when we condemned the cruel murders of Imre Nagy and General Pál Maléter by the Soviet Union. In 2022, we issued our first ever international endorsement for Prime Minister Orbán. Since that year, an NYYRC delegation has attended every CPAC Hungary conference – including this year. Americans and Hungarians must stand together because we are stronger together, and Prime Minister Orbán has been a good friend to President Donald J. Trump and the United States.
Today, Americans admire the strength, faith, and conviction of the Hungarian People, the Fidesz party, and Prime Minister Orbán. Despite the difficult times facing Europe, Orbán has shown strength, courage, and wisdom navigating his country through these challenging times. In this moment of choosing, the New York Young Republican Club calls on all patriotic Hungarians to ensure a bright future for their country by reelecting Viktor Orbán as Prime Minister of Hungary.
On April 12, 2026, vote for Viktor Orbán for reelection as Prime Minister of Hungary.
