Zohran Mamdani’s latest political appointment may not survive to the end of the week. Posts unearthed by the New York Young Republican Club show that Afua Atta-Mensah, a professional activist and Mamdani’s appointment to lead the Mayor’s Office for Equity and Racial Justice, is herself an anti-white racist of the highest order. When she was nominated on Thursday, Atta-Mensah immediately wiped her X account, but it was too late. Last night, the New York Post published these posts, which offer a dramatic window into the thoughts of Mamdani’s inner circle.
Just three weeks ago, Atta-Mensah appeared with the mayor on the cover of New York Magazine, introducing “Mayor Mamdani and his inner circle.” This cadre of socialist theater children reserves its greatest enmity for white New Yorkers. In a now-deleted tweet, Atta-Mensah said: “Tax Them To Their White Meat!!!” In truth, this racial hatred was a feature, not a bug, of Mamdani’s campaign. In June, Mamdani came under fire for wanting to raise property taxes on “richer and whiter neighborhoods.” Like Atta-Mensah, Zohran Mamdani also believes in discrimination against white New Yorkers.
“Anti-White racism is a feature, not a fringe problem, of Mamdani’s inner circle,” said NYYRC President Stefano L. Forte. “The mayor said there is no one he trusts more than Atta-Mensah to push ‘racial equity,’ and make no mistake: tweets about taxing ‘white meat’ reflect the approach of the entire Mamdani administration to reshape New York. Zohran’s team tried to be more careful after the Cea Weaver disaster, but we caught Atta-Mensah before she could scrub her digital footprint. Mamdani should be put on notice: the New York Young Republican Club has all of the receipts, and we won’t give up our city without a fight.”
The New York Young Republican Club calls for the immediate resignation of Afua Atta-Mensah as Chief Equity Officer of New York City. Truthfully, the post should be dissolved altogether. “Equity” is no more than a dogwhistle for racial discrimination against white people and if her remark about “white meat” was directed against any other racial or ethnic group, there would be riots from Soho to Harlem. If Atta-Mensah refuses to resign peacefully, the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice should investigate and prosecute her for racial discrimination and violations of the Civil Rights Act.
The New York Young Republican Club will continue to fight against the Marxist takeover of New York City.
