Deny, Denaturalize, Deport. Reject, Revoke, Remigrate.
In the June 24 primary elections, the Democratic Party will field a range of radical left-wing candidates. Andrew Cuomo, the fairy godmother of bail reform, faces off against Zohran Mamdani, a socialist so radical that even Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (NY-14) refuses to endorse him. Eric Adams, who narrowly escaped criminal charges for fraud and corruption, will watch on from the third-party sidelines. Zohran Mamdani is so radical, however, that it is not enough for New Yorkers to reject him at the ballot box; he must be outright encouraged to remigrate from the United States.
Mamdani is the epitome of left-wing intersectionalist, socialist politics. An immigrant who did not receive citizenship until 2018, Mamdani would have been deported under the Trump Administration’s current remigration efforts. He is a card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and a proud, avowed socialist whose policies would make Stalin smile. In the aftermath of the Black Lives Matter protests, Mamdani spoke about his plans to “defund the NYPD.” He also supports economic central planning, socializing housing and healthcare, transgender surgeries for minors, a $30 minimum wage, and, to pay for all this, raising taxes. Is this the candidate New York City needs?
Last year, Mamdani spoke before a sign that read, “There is only one solution: Intifada, Revolution.” In doing so, he aligned himself with the “Globalize the Intifada” movement, which is transplanting the revolutionary Islamist agenda onto the streets of New York City. Indeed, Mamdani faithfully represents the 9/11 Caucus of the Democratic Party. Like Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN-5), who described the darkest day in New York City history as “some people did something,” Mamdani is a revolutionary, pro-Hamas Islamist who supports bringing the “intifada,” an Islamist revolution, to our homes and neighborhoods. His rhetoric is not meaningfully different from the beliefs of the 19 Al Qaeda hijackers who attacked New York City just 24 short years ago.
How can New Yorkers allow a revolutionary Islamist to become Mayor of New York City? Do they no longer remember what it felt like when the Twin Towers were struck on that cloudless Tuesday morning? Perhaps the reason Mamdani draws such support from younger New Yorkers is that they were not alive when America came under attack. But older New Yorkers remember that fateful day, and they recognize the same spirit that brought down those towers in the veins of the “Globalize the Intifada” movement.
Far from electing him to public office, New Yorkers must use every available means to encourage Mamdani and his ilk to remigrate from the United States. Truly, Mamdani is a walking advertisement for the Remigration Movement. As we outlined in a previous statement, Remigration is “a policy advocating the return of immigrants and their inassimilable descendants to their countries of origin.” America has a long and respected tradition of freedom, republicanism, and free markets. Mamdani is a citizen but seven years; our tradition runs 13-score longer. His arrogance to come to America and run for office on such a platform shocks the conscience of loyal New Yorkers.
New York Young Republican Club President Stefano Forte notes that “the United States has a long and proud history of deporting Communists and Radical Anarchists. Zohran’s denaturalization should be the start of the total dismantling of the DSA and their un-American activities. The great patriot Senator Joseph R. McCarthy would have never allowed these vile entities to fester and grow, and neither should we.”
The New York Young Republican Club calls for the Trump Administration to immediately open its planned Office of Remigration in the State Department. Naturalization alone does not make one a Heritage American. Mamdani must be unequivocally rejected by the People of New York, but his impending failure in the June 24 primaries will not be enough. He and his cronies, revolutionary socialists and pro-Hamas Islamists – along with all others whose values are incompatible or at odds with the American tradition – must be peacefully remigrated back to their home countries.
Farewell and adieu.
