Catholic pro-life activist and former New York Young Republican Club Board Member Savannah Craven was brutally assaulted and hospitalized yesterday, while peacefully filming pedestrian interviews in Harlem. Like many left-wingers who prefer violence over logic, a radical abortionist abruptly clubbed Craven in the head in response to a question. A nearby policeman took Craven to the hospital, where she received numerous stitches and is, thankfully, expected to make a full recovery.
Democratic politicians have spent years either supporting or turning a blind eye toward their increasingly violent supporters. In the mid-2010s, the problem was limited to radical students on college campuses, who raged, rioted, and destroyed property when conservative speakers were invited to campus. Like a virus, it spread from the college scene after the first election of President Donald J. Trump, when a radical Bernie Sanders supporter shot GOP Congressman Steve Scalise at the annual Congressional Baseball Game.
Toward the end of the First Trump Administration, prominent Democratic leaders supported, endorsed, and fundraised for violent BLM rioters who caused up to $2 billion in damages against America’s cities. Then-future Vice President Kamala Harris fundraised to bail out violent criminals. Dangerous politicians like Maxine Waters, Ayanna Pressley, and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez spoke out in support of the rioters. Ultimately, on July 13, 2024, an ActBlue donor shot President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, in one of the most dangerous moments in American history.
The New York Young Republican Club condemns the horrific attack on Savannah Craven and calls on Attorney General Pam Bondi to take immediate federal action to bring Savannah’s violent attacker to justice. There is no room in this country for people who viciously assault Catholics, conservatives, pro-life activists, or anyone else on the basis of their religious or political views. The New York Young Republican Club is thankful that President Trump is in office and can take immediate action to end left-wing violence.
