Who:

Andre Barnes is the HBCU Engagement Director for NumbersUSA. Barnes obtained a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Education with a concentration on early childhood from Moreland University. He is the father of 4 and lives in Woodbridge, Virginia with his wife of 13 years. Barnes has been featured on Fox News, completed a week-long tour of the Texas border with the Center of Immigration studies, and travels across the United States to discuss mass immigration policy with students and community members.

Peggy Dodson, the President and CEO of UBCTV Network, embodies determination, hard work, and business acumen. Raised in Arkansas, she honed her entrepreneurial skills early, helping with her family’s businesses. After studying music on scholarship at the University of Arkansas in Fayetville, Dodson moved to New York. She then briefly moved to San Diego and later founded Akenday Entertainment, producing community-focused shows. After her time in San Diego, she moved back to New York City. In Harlem, she served as Chair of Arts & Culture and Tourism for Community Board 10 and earned accolades, including the NAACP “Women Making History” award. Her career spans over 19 years in entertainment, film, and technology, including producing NCAA broadcasts. Dodson founded UBCTV, a pioneering Harlem-based multimedia company, targeting urban, multicultural audiences with unique lifestyle content distributed globally.

By registering for our events, you understand and consent to any participation in interviews, the taking or capturing of photographs, digital images, video or audio recordings containing your voice, image, appearance, or likeness by the New York Young Republican Club, its agents, and representatives. You, as well as any of your guests or transferees, also grant permission to the New York Young Republican Club, its agents, and representatives the right to edit, use, and reuse said products, photographs and/or digital images including for use in printed or electronic publications, social media, websites or other electronic communications, and all other forms of media.

You further agree that your name and identity may be revealed in descriptive text or commentary in connection with said images and/or videos. You authorize the use of these materials without compensation. All negatives, prints, digital reproductions shall forever be the property of the New York Young Republican Club.
