I’m sure you’ve all heard this 2012 Apocalypse stuff. They cite Nostradamus and the Mayan calendar, which ends December 21, 2012, whatever that means. This 2012 hype is all over television and internet, and there’s even a movie called 2012. Well, here’s my theory:

The 2012 Apocalypse Hype is Propaganda for Obama. The Left wants to scare people. because when people are scared, they vote for the incumbent, and the incumbent is Barack Obama. In 2004, people were scared of terrorism and voted for the incumbent, George Bush. But the date clinches it for me. December 21, 2012, more than a month after Election Day, so the fear-mongers will frighten the voters, and help reelect Obama. Then, in December, we will all see that there is no apocalypse, that the 2012 hype was just hype. If the world was going to end earlier in 2012, it wouldn’t help Obama, so that’s why the Left chose December 21.

So, please ignore this 2012 Apocalypse hype, and help to destroy it, and help to defeat Barack Hussein Obama and save America from the Left.

The City Council went from three Republicans to four. Vinny Ignizio (SI), James Oddo (SI) and Eric Ulrich (Queens) all won reelection, and Dan Halloran (Queens) will join them in the City Council. New York City is still the Left’s Citadel, but little by little, we are going to storm the castle and turn this city to the Right.

By Matthew Hindin

On Tuesday, September 1, 2009, the New York Republican County Committee (“NYRCC”) hosted a forum for the candidates to succeed Joe Mondello as Chairman of the New York Republican State Committee. In attendance were district leaders, state committee members, club presidents, candidates and media.

After introductory remarks from the executive director of the NYRCC, Jason Weingartner, the candidates for Chairman spoke. First, Daniel Isaacs announced that he was withdrawing his name from contention, and said that both of the remaining candidates, Ed Cox and Henry Wojtaszek, were excellent choices. Ed Cox, who has served Presidents, Governors and the Republican Party for decades, spoke first. Cox discussed his strategy for fundraising, campaigning and communication. Henry Wojtaszek, the dynamic Niagara County GOP Chairman, then stressed the failures of the party, and outlined his plan for relentlessly revitalizing the party.

After the opening statements, the candidates took questions from the audience. The questions included how each candidate would give young Republicans and minority groups more of a voice in the statewide party, and how the statewide party would support local candidates. Both Cox and Wojtaszek demonstrated their unique experiences and abilities. Cox explained his contact with influential Republicans nationwide, his efforts statewide, and his intimacy with New York City. Wojtaszek displayed his knowledge of new communication technologies and guerilla campaigning, and his relentless passion for revitalizing the party.

Cox and Wojtaszek then mingled with the audience. The next Chairman will be elected at the meeting which must be called within fifteen days after the September 15 primary.

As if you needed more proof of the liberal media bias and death of journalism, check out this AP article, where the Associated Press covers the indictment of Queens state senator Hiram Monserrate, and omits one key piece of information – his party affiliation.

Hiram Monserrate is a Democrat. If he was an indicted Republican, the AP and every other member of the “drive-by” liberal media would gleefully include that fact. What did Hiram do? On December 19, Hiram slashed his girlfriend’s face with broken glass, and the gash over her eye required 25 stitches. Of course, Hiram claimed his innocence, just like every guilty criminal. He said it was an accident, like the stabber whose defense is “she walked into my knife.”

Again, if Hiram was a Republican, that fact would be in the story. But the drive-by liberal media doesn’t report the news anymore. They report whatever will advance their cause. Journalism is dead. Journalism is now pure propaganda.

The NYYRC is going to rent a bus, which will leave from Manhattan on Saturday, March 21 at 7 a.m., tentatively. I am going up to Troy on Friday night, but Jen Gallacher will be there Saturday morning, and Villamor Asuncion will be on the bus with you. We are renting the bus because we expect about 30 people.

The bus will leave Troy on Sunday night, after dinner. So please confirm that you are definitely in, so we can arrange the bus and the hotel rooms. If you are definitely coming, you must let me and Jen Gallacher know, so we can get you a spot on the bus and a hotel room.

The club will book the hotel room, and pay your registration, food and transportation. If you don’t confirm that you are definitely coming, we can’t book a hotel room for you. More information is available at http://www.nysyr.us/events/2009_Spring_Meeting.pdf .

Republican Jim Tedisco, currently the minority leader in the Assembly, is running for Congress against Democrat Scott Murphy, in Congressional District 20, the seat vacated by Kirsten Gillibrand. The Special Election is Tuesday, March 31. Our goal is to retake the House, and that goal begins with Jim Tedisco on March 31!

So get on the bus, and I’ll see you in Troy!

Check out Gabriel Schoenfeld’s Opinion Article in the Wall Street Journal, about President Obama picking Charles “Chas” Freeman Jr. for chairman of the National Intelligence Council. Freeman is a notorious China apologist, Israel basher, Palestinian apologist, and Islamic Terrorist apologist.

Freeman was the President of the Middle East Policy Council (MEPC), which in 2006 published the controversial and disgusting essay, “The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy” by John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt. Freeman himself defended the article and endorsed its thesis, that American Jews have a “stranglehold” on the U.S. Congress, which they employ to tilt the U.S. toward Israel at the expense of broader American interests. It pains me to even write those words, those lies. But it doesn’t bother Barack Obama.

I am a Jew. I spent months warning every Jew I could that Barack Obama was bad for Israel, bad for Jews, and good for Islamic Terrorists. But none of my friends and family listened. And John McCain refused to say it. On Election Day, 78% of Jews voted for Obama. Mayor Bloomberg went to Florida to tell old Jewish people that Obama was not a Moslem. Jews went to Florida to tell their grandparents to vote for Obama. I am disappointed and ashamed that eight out of ten Jews voted for this man. Now, to quote Jeremiah Wright, our “chickens are coming home to roost.” Obama is appointing as many Israel-haters and Jew-haters as he can. You can decide for yourself if Obama himself hates Israel and hates Jews.
