For someone who sees Russia from her backyard in Alaska and has yet to declare a bid for the White House, this is a remarkable achievement. Reflections on 9/11

I was a student at the George Washington University during that time and recall taking a micro-economics class that morning. Upon returning to my apartment, my roommate immediately informed me of what had happened. We watched the news in amazement, still unsure of what had truly occurred.
