The Left’s Citadel just moved a little to the Right
ByChris Christie is the next Governor of New Jersey, and Bob McDonnell is the next Governor of Virginia. Rob Astorino beat Andy Spano for Westchester County Executive. But the GOP victories last night were not limited to other places. Yes, NYC, the Left’s Citadel, just moved a little to the Right. I’m not talking about Mike Bloomberg.
The City Council went from three Republicans to four. Vinny Ignizio (SI), James Oddo (SI) and Eric Ulrich (Queens) all won reelection, and Dan Halloran (Queens) will join them in the City Council. New York City is still the Left’s Citadel, but little by little, we are going to storm the castle and turn this city to the Right.
