Protest Spitzer Tonight
ByNo surprise here – Spitzer is contradicting his own calls for campaign finance reform with a high-end fundraiser tonight where guests are being asked to contribute up to $94,200 each at a Penthouse on Park Avenue South.
Fortunately, the GOP is not taking this likely: there will be a rally at 40 Park Avenue South prior to the event to protest Spitzer’s hypocrisy. Also, the New York County Committee has organized a counter-fundraiser in the same building, with a much more reasonable fee of $25.
