It’s ok Rosie you’re a Democrat:
ByNot that I watch the View but I came across this article while on Yahoo about how Rosie O’Donnell had to apologize for mocking Chinese people. Apologize? I didn’t even know she mocked Chinese people.
I love how the only place you find the story is on Yahoo and the entertainment section of some news sites. I continue to love the double standard that is placed on Left leaning celebrities and politicians when it comes to racial comments.
I doubt moveon.org or the DailyKos will be calling for her resignation anytime soon.

It’s on http://www.cnn.com right now.
However, lack of media attention might be due to the fact that nobody takes her seriously.
In the end that double standard is very obvious in many other ways.

Best thing to do is ignore her. Just read an article that The View’s ratings are through the roof since she joined.
More publicity the more people tune in. She’s laughing all the way to the bank.
I wish the media would ignore but I have to side with Jen, it’s been all over the news.

I think half of it is that you expect something like this from someone like her. Gibson or Richards, the other two recent receivers of media scrutiny were definitely thought of as having more class than Rosie but let’s face it; she’s a classless, crude individual and it’s not surprising she displays that publicly. So in the headlines people see it and are like “Oh, of course she said something like that, big deal, we know she’s like that” and flip the page.

I don’t know about that Kellen. As for Gibson, class or no class, people knew that he had some pre-conceived biases towards Jews. That was very well publicized and expected.
As for Richards, I think you’re giving him more credit than he deserved. I could be wrong, but my guess is that nobody ever thought he had class or didn’t have class because they never even think about him in the first place!
However, you’re definetly right about O’Donell. She has 0 talent so now that somehow she’s famous she might as well do everything she can to extend that a la Paris Hilton.
