Pull out of Iraq? Or do you mean Pull out of DC?

If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000troops in the Iraq theatre of operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2,112 deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per100,000 soldiers. The firearm death rate in Washington D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000for the same period. That means that you are about 25% more likely to be shot andkilled in the U.S. Capitol which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, than you are in Iraq . Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington

You’re referring to percentages. Don’t you know American’s, especially Democrats, don’t understand percentages?

Being a veteran, and having had the personal pleasure of being IED’d and rocketed for a year while deployed, you can imagine my surprise to find out that Washington D.C. is, in fact, more dangerous than Iraq. How many IED’s went off in D.C. last week? How many firefights broke out? How many D.C. citizens were abducted by a rival religious faction and murdered? I guess the liberal media establishment only reports the good news coming out of D.C..
I encourage the New York Young Republican’s to share this information with as many returning servicemen as possible.
Or perhaps you can move beyond the useless rhetoric that is being spewed by both sides and actually discuss the real issues at hand.
That being said, while looking through your page, I see you held a fund raiser for people who were affected by Hurricane Katrina. That was a classy move. As a resident of the gulf south, thank you.
