Rangel’s at it again…
ByIsn’t this mature? According to AM New York, Rangel is going to ask Pelosi to make Cheney hand over his congressional office space to him:
“The outspoken Harlem congressman, who will become the next chairman of the powerful Ways & Means Committee in January thanks to the Democrats’ victory Tuesday, says he wants the storied suite of offices in the House of Representatives currently occupied by Vice President Dick Cheney’s staff.”

Jen Cheney’s House office has always been reserved and occupied by the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee.
The Republicans decided to give it to Cheney – no one knows why. Rangel is just taking back what has always been the Chairman’s office.
Seeing as how Rangel’s presence in the House is more important and frequent than that of Cheney – who has a one one already in the White house – this seems like a real stretch and much ado about nothing.

Seeing as how it’s Cheney’s vauge, secretive approach to governing that alienated most Americans and drove our party to failure on Tuesday, I have no problem with him losing his office. To the victor goes the spoils. Don’t forget that his actions helped generate the tsunami against our party in the first place. Now, let him reap the whirlwind.

Not really – considering Rangel called Cheney as son of a bitch last week and went to press with this the day after the election.

Last I checked the Vice President of the United States outranks the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee in every way.
If Rangel wants a bigger office for his new position, so be it. If he wants Cheney’s office specifically, tough noogies. It’s occupied.

I hope Rangel gets the office. There’s no way he should be rewarded with such an office when his tactics led – in large part – to the Democratic landslide this week. Maybe new digs will give the VP a wake-up call and remind him who put him there. A little dose of humility could serve the VP well. And after the way they’ve treated a true American patriot like Rumsfeld AFTER the election when it was too late to help anyone, I’d give Cheney a milk crate in the basement if it were up to me. Mitt Romney in 2008.

To Howard Roark –
You’re such a fraud! There’s no way you are a Republican – quit trying to act like one – as if you’re speaking for Republicans! I don’t even think you are a man – just reading the way you write!

Get off the blog – you fraud! (You’re probably a Demo disguised as a Republican!)
YOU sound like YOU came from the basement! Now – just go back to it!
