Now that’s what life’s about!
ByIt’s so easy to get caught up with life’s daily events that it’s easy to forget why we’re here. Every once and awhile life gives us those precious moments like today’s snow that put it all into perspective.
I just came back inside from shoveling the snow in front of the house with my little guy and we had so much fun. There we were father and son, my big shovel his little Home Depot shovel for kids as we spent quality time making a memory out of something I usually dread. It was so funny how he tried to copy every move I made, picking up snow and trying to throw it over the fence. As I watched him it reminded me of when I was little, spending time with my dad in the snow.
This is what the purpose of life is. Not to get the best job, not to be the most popular, not to have the latest electronic gadget but to continue the miracle of the family and its special bonds since the beginning of time.

Meghan, I tried to keep myself out of the blog and even laughed at some of your ill-informed and ridiculous comments, however this time I had to step in. I think it is time that you find something better to do than criticize everything Nick says; how dare you mock with such a satirical comment an image of father and son building wonderful memories and creating a lasting bond. My father passed away when I was a child but I still remember the bonds that we created while he was alive. Please, I beg you to have a inner reflection of your soul, (maybe the science teacher boyfriend can help you with that) to get out in the open all the troubles that you seem to have within yourself. Thank you for those kind words in coming to my defense.
Try not to take anything Meghan says personal; she’s sort of our resident Howard Dean whose daily I have a scream speech gives us confirmation on why we’re conservatives.

Vertucci I was hoping to be the resident Anne Coulter who said this weekend at CPAC (which received a standing ovation from Racist Conservatives)…

Thanks Meghan, I think I will continue to tell myself that I’m the best and can accomplish anything. I guess you don’t stay in the company of successful people because that is what they do. If you can’t envision yourself succeeding you’re not going to. I remember my old football coach telling me, “You have to constantly envision catching the ball, this way when the time comes, it will be automatic”. Maybe I’m just spoiled getting to deal with successful people everyday who repeat the same theme.
It’s actually funny that just this morning somebody said to me:
“If you put a small value on yourself, the world will never raise your price.”
One of my favorites though is “chance favors the prepared mind”.
You can call it having a big ego; I just refer to it as having confidence.

Vertucci confidence does not require qualifying your attributes. It is present in actions, not demonstrated by words. You’re borderline narcissistic.
